Building Change : Social Enterprise
Working in partnership with Willow Bank Health Centre and Gingerbread, we were successful in bidding for Department of Health Pathfinder money to establish a social enterprise in Stoke on Trent.
Our work includes:
- Development of the organisational form to support the TUPE of staff from the NHS into the social enterprise
- Business and financial planning
- Contract negotiation
- Organisational development
- Strategic planning
- Network and partnership development
Willow Bank Partnership cic has now been established. In 2009, we were successful in our bid to deliver primary care services from a Darzi practice in Stoke-on-Trent. Willow Bank cic has two surgeries at Longton and Meir.

We have completed nine business plans to assist orgnanisations or clinicians to become social enterpises and to make the transition. Of these several are now trading.
